The king protea is really shining through with the other dusky pinks, white, creams and grey tones. Just lovely :-)
Well - I did it, taught my first kid's class teaching 10 gorgeous young girls how to make a flower crown. I was a bit nervous as I didn't know what to expect. My daughter is 11 so I have taught her a few things here and there over the years - but that's just one!
When I first arrived, 10 eager faces swarmed around me, the table and the box of flowers and I realised there was no time for chit chat - they were keen for action. Fortunately I had plenty of adult helpers and the girls' happy smiles at the end assured me it was a success. Phew!
So looks like that's an option now for any other eager young things keen to do a floral workshop with their friends - get in touch.
