October 2019 Weddings !!!

The weather was not so kind for our first October Wedding - but apparently that didn't bother our bride and groom at all.  In true Wellington style, they had a sheltered spot all sized up in case of rain.  Our bride Emma really loved tulips and wanted to incorporate the reds of the bridesmaids dresses for her floral look.

And our second wedding was all about the reds and burgundy tones too but then Rebekah went for the neutral opposite of white for the bridesmaids to keep it simple with their dresses.  And lucky enough for Rebekah we were able to incorporate peonies too!  A lot of brides dream of this but with a limited flowering season it is sometimes tricky.

Just dropping by to say THANK YOU! Thank you so much for putting together our bouquets. They were so beautiful. Love the colours and everything!!! - Rebekah

Tyne and Dan - At Home Wedding

Tyne and Dan - At Home Wedding

Two of the most lovely people to organise a wedding with, Tyne and Dan were going for a relaxed, at-home but Boho themed.  As the wedding was in the backyard and later throughout the house and balcony, the flowers had to really play a big part in creating not only a wedding ceremony area but a boho-theme throughout the different areas.  So with careful placement of vases, wine barrels, buckets and rugs and together with the soft coloured blooms and toetoe it looked amazing.

And from Tyne and Dan -

Just wanted to say OMG the flowers were ABSOLUTELY stunning!!!! So much more than I ever could have imagined!!!!
Thank you so so much for helping to make our special day so incredibly beautiful!!!!

Emily and Charlie Jan 31 Ohariu Farm

This super lovely American - NZ duo tied the knot on a very windy Wellington day at Ohariu Farm.  But the slightly cloudier weather made for some very lovely photos that will no doubt be cherished for years to come.

Emily particularly wanted a natural (but not too rustic look), and opted for lots of grasses, toetoe and soft colours throughout.  I feel very lucky to be involved in this big wedding and grateful of all the stunning photos shared with me after.
